At Magnolia Lane Financial Advisors we are a registered investment adviser (RIA) offering a variety of services designed to help our clients achieve financial security.  As an RIA we have a fiduciary duty to put your interests first. Unlike brokerage firms that often recommend proprietary products we seek the most appropriate investments for you.  Unlike many advisors we won't outsource decision making.  We utilize our background managing money for large institutions for your benefit.  We understand how to research and select the most appropriate investments for you because we've been doing it for almost two decades.  Most importantly we manage your assets as if they were our own.

We think of our relationship with each client as a lifecycle.  We begin by listening to your goals and objectives both short-term and long-term.  We will review your current income and expenses, examine your current investments, and work with you to understand your tolerance for market risk.  Next we create a personalized investment plan suitable for you.  We will then implement your plan and monitor it for any necessary changes. We will be there with you as your goals change, adapting your plan along the way.  Our goal is to help you achieve financial security for a lifetime and beyond. 

Eric Gerster

Experience

Our founder, Eric Gerster, brings a unique background to the investment advisor role.  He spent over 15 years as an institutional analyst and portfolio manager.  This included six years investing for T. Rowe Price and 10 years as a hedge fund manager.  Eric understands how to manage risk having never had a down year in those 10 years as a hedge fund manager.  This means when the market is at its worst you will have the experience and steady hand of someone who's been there before and will help you stay the course.
